These Botanic gardens could be contacted for discussing about possible interaction in coconut conservation.

First established in 1949, the National Botanic Gardens in Lae play an essential role, acting as the centre of botanical research, conservation and education and recreation for the residents of Lae and people of Papua New Guinea. The current gardens cover an area of approximately 56 hectares. The Gardens were revived and reopened in late 2015 as part of the Lae National Botanic Garden Advancement Program. The Forest Research Institute welcomes interested individuals and businesses who would like to get involved through sponsorship of the gardens or participating in the gardens volunteer program.

Port Moresby Nature Park

Port Moresby Nature Park is PNG's only internationally recognised wildlife park and sets the benchmark in PNG for tourism, animal welfare, conservation, research and community nature-based education. It hosts over 140,000 visitors to the park each year.
Spread over 30 acres of tranquil tropical gardens the park is home to over 450 native animals and hundreds of plant species, many of which are rarely seen outside of PNG.
The Park has won a number of international awards for its work including the historic Zoo and Aquarium Association of Australasia (ZAA) award for its Sister Zoo Capacity Development Partnership Program in 2016, and again in 2018 it won an education award for small institutions for its World Wildlife Week program focused on educating school-aged children about the importance of native wildlife conservation and preservation.
