On the road to Puni Puni, in Milne bay province, we saw two locations were occured rare symptoms of dying palms. Even if these phenomenon seems very limited in space, it will be good further observations to be conducted by a phytopathologist researcher.
About 4 to 5 palms in the same place were dying with the same symptoms, leaves remaining green in the middle but yellow at the end of the leaflets, located (-10.325053°, 150.511852°) - Click on coordinates to see on Google map. It may be caused by strong insect attacks (see the other plant on the rigth side and details of the pictures).
Another place with yellowing palms, but these palms are from orange color and we beleive this is not a disease. Location is (-10.218958°, 150.488597°) - Click on it to see on google map.
